-Provide administrative support to the Finance officer, including data entry, filing, and record keeping.
-Assist in preparing and maintaining financial documents, such as invoices, receipts, and bank statements.
-Contribute to financial reporting, including data compilation and formatting.
-Assist with the preparation of financial statements and audits.
-Maintain an organized and efficient filing system for financial records.
-Assist with other financial administrative tasks as assigned.
-Ensure that all projects purchase requests have a corresponding approved budget allocation.
-Check monthly staff payroll based on time sheets received from the Project Manager or Human Resources.
-Prepare disbursement orders for the project and submit them to the authorized signatory for approval.
-Make sure all supporting documentation for project transactions and contract are archived.
-Prepare monthly expenditure reports and submit them to the Finance officer.
-Participate in the annual inventory count for project assets.
-Prepare project reconciliations and financial reports.
-Perform any other tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
-Minimum 2 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, ideally in the non-profit sector.
-Strong organizational and time management skills.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
