Job Description

• Monitor and control project and operational costs to ensure adherence to budgets and financial targets.
• Prepare, analyze, and report on cost variances, identifying areas for cost optimization and recommending corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project managers, finance, and procurement teams to ensure accurate cost allocation and forecasting.
• Develop and maintain detailed cost tracking systems, ensuring data accuracy and timely reporting.
• Conduct regular audits of expenses and financial records to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for ongoing and upcoming projects.
• Review and validate supplier invoices, contracts, and purchase orders for accuracy and alignment with project budgets.
• Generate comprehensive cost reports and present findings to management and stakeholders.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes by providing accurate cost data and analysis.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve cost control processes and implement best practices.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3 to 6 years of proven experience in cost control, financial analysis, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and financial management.
• Proficiency in using cost control software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities.
• Effective communication skills for reporting and presenting financial data.
• Experience in preparing budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Knowledge of industry best practices in cost control and financial reporting
