Job Description

• Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements.
• Ensure compliance with local, national, and international financial regulations and standards.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting processes by providing accurate financial data and analysis.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits and implement recommendations for process improvements.
• Monitor and reconcile balance sheets and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Maintain and update accounting policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project accounting and cost control.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the finance department.

Job Requirements

-Recording daily journal entries and ensuring accuracy in the  GL
-Supporting the preparation of financial statements under supervision

-Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations, as well as audit support
- Assisting in the monthly and quarterly closing processes, including bank reconciliations

-Monitoring prepaid expenses and accruals
-Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail
-Excellent organizational and time-management skills
-Ability to collaborate effectively with internal departments
-Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
-Familiarity with accounting systems is required-preferred SAP
