Job Description
The Accounts Payable Officer will be responsible for managing and processing all outgoing payments, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and financial regulations. This role is critical in maintaining strong vendor relationships and supporting the hotel’s financial health.
Key Responsibilities
Process and verify invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests promptly and accurately.
Ensure all payments are authorized and comply with company policies.
Maintain and update vendor records and liaise with suppliers regarding payment inquiries.
Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.
Prepare reports on accounts payable status and outstanding invoices.
Collaborate with internal departments to confirm receipt of goods and services.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes as needed.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts payable or finance roles, preferably in hospitality.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable procedures.
Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team under tight deadlines.
