Job Description

• Analyze and record manufacturing costs, including raw materials, labor, and overhead expenses.
• Prepare detailed cost reports and present findings to management for strategic decision-making.
• Monitor and reconcile inventory transactions, ensuring accuracy in stock levels and valuation.
• Assist in the development and implementation of cost accounting systems and procedures.
• Conduct variance analysis between actual and standard costs, identifying key drivers and recommending corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, and finance teams to optimize cost control measures.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing accurate cost data and analysis.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and relevant accounting standards.
• Participate in periodic audits and provide necessary documentation to auditors.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve cost efficiency and streamline accounting processes.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably within a manufacturing or trading environment.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, methods, and best practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
