Job Description

Analyze and record manufacturing costs, including raw materials, labor, and overhead expenses.
Prepare detailed cost reports and present findings to management for strategic decision-making.
Monitor and reconcile inventory transactions, ensuring accuracy in stock levels and valuation.
Assist in the development and implementation of cost accounting systems and procedures.
Conduct variance analysis between actual and standard costs, identifying key drivers and recommending corrective actions.
Collaborate with production, procurement, and finance teams to optimize cost control measures.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing accurate cost data and analysis.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and relevant accounting standards.
Participate in periodic audits and provide necessary documentation to auditors.
Continuously seek opportunities to improve cost efficiency and streamline accounting processes.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably within a manufacturing or trading environment.
Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, methods, and best practices.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
