Senior Accountant – GL

A big Organization in Jordan – Amman is looking for a Senior Accountant – GL, as follows:
Key Responsibilities
– Review and approve general ledger transactions, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
– Review and monitor the monthly closing process, including reconciliations and journal entries.
– Execute and validate Sub Ledger & Balance Sheet reconciliations (accruals, prepayments, intercompany, bank, etc.).
– Prepare and present debit & credit balance reports to the CA.
– Oversee tax payment processes and ensure accuracy in account balances.
Enter monthly payroll entries into the system.

Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting.
– 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance.
– Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
– Strong command of English (spoken and written).
– Preferred working knowledge of ERP systems ( SAP).
