• Responsible for ensuring that the Cost system functionality and performance meet current and future business requirements.
• Key KPIs include:
• Periodic inventory review.
• Periodic closure and updates of projects.
• Updated costing sheet/project
• Prepare monthly cost of sales figures by analyzing material, direct expenses.
• Assist the cost section head in preparing monthly journal entries for cost of sales.
• Maintain a weighted average cost inventory system and follow the established valuation method.
• Assist in the quarterly and year-end physical inventory process.
• Review and audit the costing system, including costs for purchased material inventory.
• Prepare a report for the cost section head and recommend changes.
• Review the costing of all Inventory items.
• Analyze inventory to ensure transactions are recorded accurately
• Analyze and review inventory costing, verify the reasonableness of standard and weighted average cost.
• Actively involved in the implementation of the company's inventory cycle count program.
• Applying revenue recognition in coordination with IFRS 15
• Allocate the landed cost, which relates to shipment.
• Assist in the closing of the financial statements.
• Review of work orders for accuracy and participate in implementing the company's inventory cycle count, being an essential link between the operation and accounting
