What youll be doing:

R2R Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records performing reconciliations and supporting the month-end and year-end closing processes. The role demands exceptional attention to detail strong analytical capabilities and a deep understanding of accounting principles in the retail industry.

Core Responsibilities

Management: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
2. Month-End and Year-End Closing: Collaborate with the finance team to support the timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end closing activities including accruals adjustments and reporting.
3. Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and providing valuable insights to stakeholders.
4. Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Conduct thorough reconciliations of balance sheet accounts addressing any discrepancies and ensuring data integrity.
5. Fixed Assets Accounting: Manage fixed assets accounting including depreciation calculations and tracking and handle related capitalization and disposals.
6. Intercompany Transactions: Oversee intercompany transactions and reconciliations with accuracy and efficiency.
7. Audit Support: Act as a key point of contact during internal and external audits providing necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
8. Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to streamline and improve R2R processes enhancing efficiency and controls.
9. Compliance and Policies: Stay up-to-date with accounting standards tax regulations and company policies ensuring full compliance and timely implementation of changes.
10. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance treasury and operations to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
