Schedule: Mon-Fri

The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Accountant to manage the core transactional and inventory aspects of our retail business. This role is perfect for a meticulous individual with a solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and a keen eye for physical stock control.

Key Responsibilities (What You Will Do)

Inventory Control: Manage and maintain accurate records of all clothing stock and inventory levels. Assist in coordinating and conducting regular physical inventory counts and reconciling discrepancies.

Data Entry & Bookkeeping: Perform daily and accurate data entry of all sales, purchases, expenses, and financial transactions into the accounting system.

Sales Reporting: Prepare and analyze detailed Commission Sales Reports for the retail team, ensuring timely and accurate calculation of incentives.

Financial Support: Assist the Senior Accountant with bank reconciliations, expense reports, journal entries, and the preparation of basic financial reports.

Documentation: Organize and maintain physical and electronic accounting records and files with high confidentiality.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Proven experience or specialized knowledge in Stock Inventory Management is a must, preferably within the retail sector.

Proficiency in accounting software and strong MS Excel skills.

High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Fluent in English (written and spoken).
