Our Client is a leading manufacturing company that offers global packaging solutions for Pharmaceutical & Non- Pharmaceutical companies, and they are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior GL Accountant to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Performing month-end closing activities, including preparation of journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Ensuring accuracy and completeness of the general ledger and subsidiary ledgers.
• Monitoring and analyzing account balances and financial transactions.
• Preparing and analyzing financial statements.
• Assisting in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support financial reporting and analysis.
• Assisting with internal and external audits.
• Providing guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff.

Requirements:

• • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in general ledger accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Fluency in English is a must.
  • Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines.
