Job DescriptionSofi Pack is looking for a detail-oriented AR Accountant to join our finance team. The primary responsibility will be managing all activities related to customer accounts, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update customer files and records.
Generate and send invoices and account statements to customers.
Perform daily cash and check posting to the accounting system.
Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
Follow up on overdue invoices and manage collection activities.
Prepare weekly/monthly reports on AR aging and collection status.
Resolve any billing discrepancies or customer inquiries regarding payments.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting major.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
Technical Skills:
High proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
Experience working with ERP systems (Odoo, SAP, or Oracle).
Languages: Good command of the English language.
Soft Skills: Excellent negotiation skills, high accuracy, and strong analytical thinking.
