Nasoft is hiring for one of our clients, specialized in sensors and industrial solutions.

The Senior Accountant – Head of Unit will lead and manage a dedicated accounting unit, ensuring accurate financial reporting, VAT compliance (ZATCA), and high-quality service delivery.

The role oversees full-cycle accounting, monthly closing, and regulatory submissions while supervising junior accountants and maintaining operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise the accounting unit, ensuring structured task execution and productivity.

Oversee full-cycle accounting activities, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and monthly closing.

Review accounting entries, trial balances, and financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Ensure timely VAT filings and compliance with ZATCA and statutory requirements.

Oversee preparation and final review of financial statements.

Manage client onboarding and set up operational accounting workflows.

Monitor compliance calendars and ensure reporting deadlines are met.

Implement quality control measures and drive process improvements within the unit 5 working days (Sunday - Thursday) 2 days off 8 working hors including one hour break (9 AM - 5 PM) Health & Social Insurance L&D Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

3–5 years of practical accounting experience.

Experience in accounting firms or outsourced accounting services is preferred.

Previous experience supervising or guiding junior accountants.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

Solid experience in full-cycle accounting and monthly closing.

Hands-on experience in VAT preparation and submission (ZATCA).

Experience in preparing and reviewing financial statements.

Strong reconciliation skills (Bank, AP, AR, GL).

Proficiency in accounting systems and ERP software.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, reporting, data organization).

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet reporting deadlines.

Ability to manage multiple client accounts efficiently.
