Amaken is currently hiring a Senior Accountant for a huge manufacturing company specialized in poultry based in Roumieh, Lebanon.

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of general ledger entries.

• Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions.

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in audits.

• Prepare NSSF (National Social Security Fund), VAT and Income Tax declarations accurately and on time.

• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.

• Enter financial transactions into the accounting system with precision and speed.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• 3–5 years of experience in a similar accounting role.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

• Previous Experience in ERP software and MS Excel.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
