A leading regional events company is seeking a detail-oriented Event Accountant to support its UAE operations from Cairo. Company office is located in Heliopolis area.
This role is responsible for managing the full accounting cycle for event projects, including vendor payments, customer invoicing, VAT compliance, and budget reconciliation. The position requires strong coordination with UAE-based operations teams and strict adherence to financial controls.
Gross Salary is EGP 15,000
Key Responsibilities Vendor onboarding and compliance documentation review3-way matching (PO, invoice, approval) Bill entry and accurate cost allocation per event UAE VAT input coding and validation Supplier reconciliation and discrepancy resolution Monitoring vendor aging reports Preparation and issuance of client invoices Revenue recognition based on contract terms and milestones Support collection follow-ups with Finance Manager Event budget vs. actual reconciliation Ensure PO compliance prior to payment processing Prevent duplicate payments through strict review controls Maintain audit-ready documentation Support ERP processes and financial reporting requirements Generating Periodic reports
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance3–5 years of AP/AR experience (project-based or service industry preferred) Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations ERP experience (Odoo experience is an advantage) Strong Excel proficiency High attention to detail and structured work approach Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Fluency in English is a must Excellent knowledge in Microsoft office suite
