Job Description A Senior AP Accountant is a finance professional who uses ERP software to manage a company's accounts payable, which involves processing vendor invoices, verifying purchase orders, reconciling accounts, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Duties and Responsibilities-Reading and interpreting daily, monthly, quarterly and annual accounts-Assisting the accounting team in the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports and financial statements-Processing due invoices for payments-Reviewing and resolving issues with financial and operational reports-Ensuring the account payable team comply with the terms and conditions set out in the contract-Supporting the accounting team in the preparation of annual budget, forecasts and quarterly forecasts-Coordinating monthly and quarterly close processes-Ensuring bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner-Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges-Developing and maintaining working knowledge of all procedures, policies and standard operating procedures

Requirements and Qualifications-A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field-Minimum of 5 years Exp. in accounting-Excellent quantitative and analytical skills-Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively- Process and reconcile invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance- Manage AP ledger, reconciliations, and month-end close- Develop and implement AP policies and procedures- Build strong vendor relationships and resolve issues- Assist in audits and financial reporting- Optimize AP processes for efficiency and cost savings- Lead AP team and provide guidance
