Responsible for overseeing daily financial operations while ensuring accuracy and compliance, and maintaining accurate accounting records that support financial planning and reporting activities. Coordinates with internal teams and external auditors to ensure efficient, transparent, and well-controlled financial processes.
· Conduct a comprehensive review of all accounting activities to gain a clear understanding of responsibilities, priorities, and performance expectations.
· Develop a structured plan for daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and addressing any process gaps or improvements.
· Engage with internal teams and relevant stakeholders to align workflows, reporting requirements, and collaborative processes to ensure smooth financial operations.
· Implement and monitor internal controls to maintain accuracy, regulatory compliance, and effective risk management across all accounting processes.
· Analyze financial data regularly, identify trends or discrepancies, and provide actionable insights to support informed management decisions.
· Coordinate with external auditors, prepare necessary documentation, and facilitate timely and efficient audit processes.
· Oversee and maintain fixed assets, including tracking, depreciation, and capital expenditures, ensuring accurate and complete reporting.
· Identify opportunities to enhance accounting processes, implement best practices, and improve overall operational efficiency.
· Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and reports in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
· Guide junior staff and uphold high standards of accuracy, compliance, and financial integrity.
