Role Description

This is a remote contract position for a Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant will oversee financial reporting, manage reconciliations, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. The role involves analyzing financial data, preparing financial statements, assisting in tax reporting, and offering insights for financial strategy and planning. Additionally, the Senior Accountant will collaborate across teams to ensure seamless financial operations while contributing to process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in financial reporting, account reconciliations, and general ledger management Proficiency in tax preparation, compliance, and regulation adherence Experience in financial data analysis and preparation of financial statements Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills Familiarity with accounting software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA certification is a plus) Strong ability to work independently in a remote environment Prior experience in process improvement and system optimization
