Job Description: Accountant – Accounts Receivable (AR)

Location: Qatar

Contract Duration: 6 Months

Division: Recruitment & Outsourcing

Key Responsibilities

Billing & Invoicing

Prepare monthly outsourcing invoices based on approved timesheets and deployment records.
Generate placement fee invoices in accordance with recruitment contracts.
Calculate and bill overtime, end-of-service (EOS), leave salary, and WPS recoveries.
Review and validate contracts to ensure correct rates, billing terms, and commercial conditions.
Maintain proper documentation supporting all billing activities.

Collections & Account Management

Monitor accounts receivable aging and proactively follow up on overdue invoices.
Coordinate with operations and recruitment teams to resolve billing disputes.
Issue Statements of Account (SOA) and obtain customer balance confirmations.
Maintain strong client relationships to support timely collections.

Cash Application & Reconciliation

Reporting & Compliance

Prepare AR aging reports, DSO analysis, and collection performance reports.
Support month-end closing activities and external/internal audits.
Ensure compliance with IFRS, company policies, and Qatar regulatory requirements.
Identify process improvement opportunities within the AR cycle.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 3+ years of Accounts Receivable experience, preferably in recruitment, outsourcing, or service industries.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Zoho, or Odoo.
