- Record deposits, withdrawals, cash transfers, and bank transfers accurately in accounting books.
Perform bank reconciliations between book balances and bank statements, and prepare necessary adjusting entries.
Follow up on issued and received checks, collection instruments, payment orders, and their due dates.
Prepare cash flow reports, record bank expenses and commissions, and match them with contracts.
Follow up on loans, credit facilities, bank deposits, and accrued interest.
Issue letters of guarantee (Primary – Final – Advance Payment).
Ensure compliance with banking and legal regulations and maintain accurate financial records.
Create and maintain a contractors database, review contract terms, payment conditions, penalties, and agreed lump-sum or unit prices.
Receive subcontractors’ progress payment certificates (subcontractors’ invoices) from site, review them technically and financially in coordination with the quantity surveyor (BOQ) and after approval from the Project Manager.
Record site material withdrawals, equipment usage, and daily site activities, and deduct them from subcontractors’ statements.
Prepare daily entries related to subcontractor payments (checks or transfers) after deducting advance payments, guarantees, and retentions.
Record daily journal entries and post them to subcontractors’ ledgers and project cost analysis.
Perform periodic reconciliations with subcontractors and prepare reports on contractors’ and project balances for management.
