We are seeking a detail-oriented General Accountant to manage our daily financial operations. A key part of this role will be handling the complexity of inventory management across both our warehouse (online) and external locations. Job ResponsibilitiesDaily Entries: Record day-to-day financial transactions, including sales, expenses, and payments. Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels and reconcile physical inventory with system records (COGS analysis) to prevent shrinkage. Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements, payment gateway settlements, and courier cash-on-delivery (COD) reports. Tax Compliance: Prepare and file VAT returns and ensure compliance with local tax regulations. Reporting: Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash in and Cash out Statements, etc…) for management. Accounts Receivable & Collections: Manage the end-to-end collection process, including monitoring aging reports, following up with clients on overdue invoices via phone/email/client visits, and ensuring timely collection of payments to optimize cash flow. Requirements and Skills• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. • Experience with inventory management systems and ERP software. (Experience inZoho Books is preferred)• Proficiency in Excel is a must. • Good spoken and written English and Arabic. • Experience in managing Amazon and noon invoices is a plus.
