We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible General Accountant to manage the company’s financial transactions and accounting records. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles and experience in handling day-to-day accounting functions in a trading environment.

The candidate should be professional, trustworthy, and possess a pleasing personality with good communication skills. We are looking for someone with leadership potential who can support the growth and development of the finance function within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle daily accounting operations (journal entries, ledger maintenance).

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Prepare and issue invoices, monitor collections, and follow up on payments.

Reconcile bank statements and supplier/customer accounts.

Prepare financial reports and assist in monthly and yearly closing.

Maintain accurate financial records using Tally accounting software.

Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.

Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Proven experience as an Accountant (experience in trading industry preferred).

Strong working knowledge of Tally software.

Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

Pleasing personality and professional attitude.

Leadership potential and ability to take initiative.
