Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented General Accountant with experience in the real estate industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage daily accounting transactions, journal entries, and general ledger.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Record rental income, service charges, and property-related expenses.
- Manage tenant accounts, invoicing, and payment follow-ups.
- Reconcile lease agreements and property statements.
- Coordinate with property management teams regarding financial matters.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and prepare VAT filings.
- Assist in internal and external audits.
- Monitor cash flow and budget tracking.
- Maintain proper documentation for regulatory and management review.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and UAE VAT regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
