Position: Finance Manager

Location: Ramallah - Full-time

Introduction:

Education For Employment – Palestine (EFE-Palestine) is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the organization’s financial management, governance, and donor compliance functions.

EFE-Palestine is a leading Palestinian non-profit dedicated to connecting youth with sustainable employment opportunities. Since 2006, the organization has trained more than 27,000 young people and partnered with 1,000+ employers to create pathways to jobs and entrepreneurship.

The Role:

The Finance Manager will play a key leadership role in ensuring financial integrity, compliance, and strategic financial planning across the organization. Reporting directly to the CEO, the position oversees budgeting, financial reporting, donor financial management, audit coordination, and internal control systems.

This role is ideal for a finance professional with strong experience in donor-funded environments, financial governance, and organizational financial leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead organizational financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Ensure robust financial controls, compliance, and risk management.
• Oversee donor budget management and financial reporting.
• Manage cash flow, banking relations, and financial operations.
• Lead preparation for external audits and financial reviews.
• Provide financial analysis and reporting to the CEO and Board.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive financial management experience, including NGO or donor-funded programs.
• Strong experience in audits, donor compliance, and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with accounting systems (Bisan or similar ERP).
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
