A leading company in the agriculture industry is searching for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Controller to join their team.
As a Financial Controller, you will play a critical role in maintaining their financial health and supporting our strategic initiatives.
Your expertise will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and operational efficiencies within the finance department.
You will be collaborating closely with senior management and other departments to provide financial insights that drive decision-making.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Manage the preparation of timely and accurate financial statements.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.
Perform financial analysis and risk assessment to inform strategic decisions.
Supervise the finance team and foster a collaborative working environment.
Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to mitigate risks.
Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors.
Monitor cash flow and working capital to optimize financial performance.
Prepare regular financial reports for the senior management team.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies.
Attractive Package Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in a financial controller or similar role.
Industrial or manufacturing background is a must.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Proficiency in financial management software and Excel.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
IFRS certification or demonstrable advanced IFRS expertise.
Experience in managing a finance team is a plus.
