Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Cost Accountant (CMA Qualified) based in Doha, Qatar. The Cost Accountant will perform a range of accounting duties, including cost analysis, preparing and reviewing financial statements, and managing journal entries. The role involves assessing financial data and ensuring the accuracy of cost records to support efficient budgeting and decision-making processes. The professional will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial reporting and cost management strategies.

Qualifications Proficiency in Cost Accounting and understanding of cost control methodologies. Strong skills in Financial Statements preparation and interpretation. Demonstrated ability with Analytical Skills and data-driven decision-making. Experience in managing Journal Entries and accounting reconciliations. Understanding of Finance principles, budgeting, and forecasting. CMA qualification is mandatory. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Familiarity with accounting tools and ERP systems is an advantage. Strong communication and organizational skills. Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus.
