We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage daily financial operations, ensure accurate reporting, and maintain compliance with local regulations. The role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a hospitality environment. Key Responsibilities1. Daily Accounting OperationsRecord and reconcile daily transactions (cash, bank, POS)Monitor revenue from rooms, F&B, and other servicesHandle accounts payable and receivableMaintain accurate financial records and documentation2. Financial ReportingPrepare monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)Track expenses and identify cost-saving opportunitiesGenerate periodic reports for management review3. Cash & Bank ManagementPerform daily cash counts and reconciliationsReconcile bank statementsMonitor cash flow and liquidity4. Payroll & ExpensesPrepare and process staff payrollTrack staff attendance, salaries, and benefitsVerify and process supplier invoices and payments5. Compliance & TaxesCoordinate with external auditors when needed6. Inventory & Cost ControlMonitor inventory (especially F&B and housekeeping supplies)Conduct periodic stock auditsAnalyze cost of goods sold (COGS)RequirementsEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field2–5 years of experience (hospitality experience is a strong plus)Experience with accounting software (e. g. , QuickBooks, Odoo, or similar)SkillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyGood analytical and problem-solving skillsProficiency in ExcelAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesGood communication skills (Arabic & English required, French is a plus)Preferred (Not Mandatory)Experience in a hotel or restaurant environmentKnowledge of POS systems and hotel PMSFamiliarity with Lebanese labor and tax systems
