Job :

As part of the finance team, the Accountant will be in charge of managing financial tasks, making sure accounting rules are followed, and helping with different business tasks.

The job will include:

Managing Fixed Assets:

Creating and managing retired assets using ERP Systems like SAP and Coupa

Doing monthly checks and reviews of asset amortization

Checking IAM Accounts with the main team

Processing clearing and proof of delivery entries.

General Accounting:

Creating, uploading, and making journal entries, making sure all papers are correct.

Reviewing and checking GL Accounts and moving entries if needed.

Watching and checking monthly reversals and doing regular re-evaluations.

Doing checks and fixing any differences.

Bank Management:

Getting ready and doing bank reconciliations

Managing cash journal entries, including uploading and posting files

Balance Sheet Management:

Doing balance sheet account checks and making sure they are correct.

Giving comments on the balance sheet and explaining big changes.

Accounts Receivable (AR):

Recording AR Entries and making sure cut-off processes are correct.

Managing AR Deposits and checks

Accounts Payable (AP):

Processing AP payment cycles, payments, and reviews.

Managing AP Checks in SAP and COUPA.

Reviewing vendor invoices, TE reports, and fixing issues with payment processing.

Required profile :

Education:

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting, Finance, or a similar area

Certifications:

A professional certificate in accounting or finance is a big plus (like CAP, ACCA, or similar).

Skills and abilities:

Technical Skills:

Being very good with ERP systems like SAP and COUPA

Deep knowledge of IFRS and Accounting standards

Experience in financial reporting, checks, and managing journal entries.

Being very skilled with Excel

Knowing about Power BI is helpful.

Soft Skills:

Very good organizing and analysis skills

Good communication skills and ability to work with different teams.

Paying attention to details and being good at solving problems quickly.

Languages:

Being fluent in English and French, spoken and written, is required.
