Job Description

• Develop, implement, and maintain cost accounting systems and procedures to ensure accurate cost allocation
• Analyze production costs, variances, and profitability, providing actionable insights to management
• Prepare cost reports, budgets, and forecasts aligned with business objectives
• Monitor inventory transactions, reconciliations, and valuation processes
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to cost and inventory
• Collaborate with operations, procurement, and finance teams to identify cost-saving opportunities
• Conduct cost audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations
• Perform variance analysis and highlight key deviations with recommendations
• Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analysis as required

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1–5 years of experience in cost accounting
• Experience in one of the following industries is a must:
  • Manufacturing / Industrial
  • Food industries
  • Retail
  • FMCG
  • F&B
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and inventory management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
• Experience with ERP systems is a strong advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
