Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities
1. Inventory Control
- Monitor inventory movements (receipts & issues).
- Ensure proper allocation of materials to production.
- Conduct periodic stock counts and inventory audits.
2. Production Monitoring
- Follow up on production plans across different production centers.
- Ensure accurate recording of production data and material usage.
3. Costing & Analysis
- Prepare cost reports and production analysis.
- Calculate product costs and job order costing regularly.
- Monitor variances and waste percentages at each production stage.
- Analyze machine efficiency and utilization rates.
- Provide recommendations to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
4. Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with Production Manager, Planning team, and production units.
- Provide accurate reports and insights to management.
Job Requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Good knowledge of inventory and production processes.
- Proficiency in Excel; ERP experience is a plus.
