Our Fuel Trading company in Dubai is looking for a skilled Accountant with strong experience in the oil, fuel, or energy trading sector. The ideal candidate will understand the financial dynamics of fuel procurement, storage, logistics, and trading operations within the UAE market.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily accounting operations including AP/AR, GL entries, and bank reconciliations

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

Handle cost accounting related to fuel trading, logistics, and inventory movements

Monitor and reconcile stock levels, fuel transactions, and pricing adjustments

Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, IFRS standards, and internal audit requirements

Coordinate with suppliers, customers, auditors, and internal departments

Maintain accurate records for trade finance, LC documentation, and supplier settlements

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/ACCA preferred)

3–5 years of accounting experience in fuel trading, oil & gas, or commodity trading

Strong understanding of IFRS and UAE VAT regulations

Experience with ERP/accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, or similar)

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
