Night To Night Hypermarket

The Accounting Assistant supports the finance team by handling basic accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting in daily financial operations. This role is essential for ensuring smooth and organized financial processes within the hypermarket.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in recording daily financial transactions (sales, expenses, purchases)

Maintain and update accounting records and files

Support accounts payable and receivable processes

Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments

Assist in bank reconciliations and cash handling

Help prepare financial reports and summaries

Verify accuracy of financial data and correct discrepancies

Maintain proper documentation for audits and compliance

Coordinate with other departments for financial information

Support senior accountants in daily tasks

Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Basic knowledge of accounting principles

Familiarity with MS Excel and accounting software

Good numerical and data entry skills

Attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment

Preferred Skills:

Experience in retail or hypermarket accounting

Knowledge of VAT (especially in UAE)

Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Tally, QuickBooks)

Strong organizational and time management skills

Working Conditions:

Full-time position

May require occasional overtime during audits or month-end closing

Office-based within the hypermarket or head office
