Job Description

We Are Hiring: Purchasing & Cost Accountant" to join our finance team, to enhance efficiency in procurement and cost analysis activities.

1. Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Accounting or Finance major)
• Preferably holds a diploma or courses in Cost Accounting
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in purchasing and cost accounting

2. Job Responsibilities

• Record and review purchase invoices and ensure accuracy
• Follow up on purchase orders and match them with contracts and agreed prices
• Analyze the cost of raw materials and purchases
• Prepare periodic cost reports
• Monitor and evaluate inventory using accepted costing methods
• Coordinate with warehouse and production departments
• Analyze cost variances and recommend corrective actions
• Participate in preparing budgets

3. Required Skills

• Strong understanding of cost analysis
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with ERP systems (such as SAP or Oracle Financials)
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure
• Good communication and negotiation skills

4. Additional Requirements

• Good knowledge of supplier markets and pricing
• Full understanding of the procurement cycle
