Job Description
We Are Hiring: Purchasing & Cost Accountant" to join our finance team, to enhance efficiency in procurement and cost analysis activities.
1. Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Accounting or Finance major)
- Preferably holds a diploma or courses in Cost Accounting
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in purchasing and cost accounting
2. Job Responsibilities
- Record and review purchase invoices and ensure accuracy
- Follow up on purchase orders and match them with contracts and agreed prices
- Analyze the cost of raw materials and purchases
- Prepare periodic cost reports
- Monitor and evaluate inventory using accepted costing methods
- Coordinate with warehouse and production departments
- Analyze cost variances and recommend corrective actions
- Participate in preparing budgets
3. Required Skills
- Strong understanding of cost analysis
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with ERP systems (such as SAP or Oracle Financials)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
- Good communication and negotiation skills
4. Additional Requirements
- Good knowledge of supplier markets and pricing
- Full understanding of the procurement cycle
