DescriptionApt Resources is actively looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented accountant to become an integral part of a dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing a wide array of financial transactions, meticulously maintaining accurate and comprehensive financial records, and ensuring full compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations. This position not only offers the chance to immerse yourself in a fast-paced and continuously evolving environment but also provides a unique opportunity to support various projects and operations through insightful financial analysis and comprehensive reporting. Your expertise will play a crucial role in driving the financial success of the organization.
Responsibilities- Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and financial reports.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Conduct financial analysis to provide insights on business performance.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and accounting standards.
- Coordinate with external auditors during audits and financial reviews.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Maintain the general ledger and reconcile financial discrepancies.
- Collaborate with different departments to improve financial processes and reporting.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or similar systems.
- Knowledge of QuickBooks.
- Knowledge of construction and landscaping accounting or related industry experience.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of tax laws and regulations is an advantage.
Salary: AED 5000 to 6000
