JOB OVERVIEW

As an Audit Directoryourfocusison developing our presencein the UAE,in line with Strategy 2027. Thisis an excellent opportunity for an entrepreneurial and dynamic individual who is looking for a role where they can influence success, take ownership of the growth of a team and develop strong internal and external networks.

The successful candidate will be able toleveragethegreat workalready happening in the firm to develop client relationships and a strong market facing presence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be responsible fora large portfolio of audit clients, ensuring that all workallocatedis carried out profitably, efficiently and to the highest level of quality

• Overseeing and supporting multiple engagement teams concurrently to complete financial statement audits

• Develop the client base and lead on client pitches

• Project manage client work, ensuring we deliver the right quality to the relevant timescales

• Build andmaintainstrong working relationship with your team and our clients

• Take opportunities for wider department responsibilities through training and pitching new projects

• Constantly strive to push yourself, and the business, further, knowingyou’resupported through every stage

• Consistently listening and communicating with clients about engagement and service expectations; resolving technical and service issues quickly and thoroughly

• Training and supervising less experienced colleagues and providing consistent, regular feedback

• Working with Talent Acquisition and recruiting for the team as and whenrequired

CRITERIA FOR SUCCESS

• UAE National with a Family Book
• 11+years ofExternal Audit experience in a top international firm

• Professionally qualified(ACA/CPA/ACCA or equivalent)

• Ideally,you’llhave a strong network or the potential to develop a strong network of clients in the UAE market

• A passion for business development and a desire to be involved in developing a strategy for the team

• Significant leadership experience in audit within practice

• Experienced in working on large audits and complex groups in addition to dealing with complex technical matters

• Strongworking knowledge of compliance and regulation
• Proven ability to inspire and develop people
