Location: Jadra, Lebanon
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our team in Jadra. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for accuracy in financial reporting. This role offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports and statements.
- Maintain and update accounting records and files.
- Perform reconciliations of accounts.
- Process invoices, payments, and expenses.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Support senior accountants in various accounting tasks.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Assist in audits and financial reviews.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Handle daily banking activities and cash management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English and Arabic.
- Living in or around Jadra area
