Talent 360 is hiring a Senior General Accountant for one of our FMCG clients operating in the import & export field.

Job Responsibilities Record, review, and maintain daily accounting transactions in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.

Manage import and export accounting processes, including supplier invoices, customs duties, freight, clearance fees, and shipment-related costs.

Prepare and reconcile Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

Perform regular bank and cash reconciliations.

Monitor and record inventory transactions and calculate Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) for FMCG products.

Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.

Prepare basic financial statements and support management reporting.

Ensure compliance with VAT regulations, customs duties, and local tax laws.

Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and sales teams regarding shipment documentation and costing.

Maintain accurate and organised accounting records and support internal and external audits.

Social Insurance Medical Insurance Location: Sheikh Zayed Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

4+ years of experience as a General Accountant, preferably in FMCG and/or import & export companies.

Solid understanding of import/export documentation and shipment costing.

Basic to intermediate knowledge of VAT, customs duties, and local tax regulations.

Experience working with ERP systems (e.

g., SAP, Oracle, Odoo, or similar).

Strong proficiency in MS Excel.

Good command of the English language.

Working Conditions Working days: Monday to Friday Days off: Saturday & Sunday Working hours: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
