Job Purpose
The Financial Planning Analyst will be based in Dubai and report directly to the FP&A Manager, AME. The role supports financial planning and analysis across the Middle East and Africa region, providing insights to drive strategic decision-making and business performance. You will partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and regional finance teams.
Responsibilities:
- Financial planning and analysis operations:
- Consolidate and interpret company’s financial results to management and recommend improvement activities
- Report to management on variances from the established budget, and the reasons for those variances
- Manage the preparation of the company’s budget and rolling forecasts
- Finance and business partnership
- Engage in benchmarking studies to establish areas of potential operational improvement One sentence about main responsibility
- Review company bottlenecks and recommend changes to improve the overall level of company throughput
- Engage in ongoing cost efficiency in all areas of the company
- Engage in benchmarking studies to establish areas of potential operational improvement
- Support decision making process at operational level with the area managers and department heads.
- Assist in the determination of product pricing and value chain analysis
- Strategic guidance
- Assist management in the formulation of its overall strategic direction
- Lead business cases for strategic initiatives
Qualifications & Experience Required
Education, Master, other certification:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
MBA / MSc is a plus
Experience (years):
- Minimum 5 years of experience
Experience in Middle East markets required
Technical Skills:
- Strong financial analysis and forecasting
- Advanced SAP and Excel skills
- Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI)
- IFRS knowledge
Languages Skills:
Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
