Position Title: Part-Time Contractual Financial Accountant
Contract Type: Part-Time Consultancy / Service Contract
Contract Duration: One-year renewable contract, subject to organizational needs, performance, and funding availability.
Position Purpose
The Part-Time Contractual Financial Accountant will handle the financial management functions of Proud Lebanon. The position holder will ensure compliance with donor requirements, organizational policies, accounting standards, and Lebanese legal and fiscal regulations. The Financial Accountant will work closely with management, program teams, procurement, human resources, and external auditors to maintain accurate financial records and support sound financial decision-making.

The selected consultant will be required to fully comply with Proud Lebanon's internal regulations, policies, procedures, and ethical standards throughout the duration of the assignment. This includes adherence to, but is not limited to, the Financial Management Policy, Anti-Corruption and Anti-Fraud Policy, Procurement, Purchasing and Logistics Policy, Human Resources Policy, Code of Conduct for Staff and Board Members, Conflict of Interest Policy, Confidentiality Policy, Speak Up Policy, Child Safeguarding Policy, Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) Policy, Commitment to Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP), Complaint Handling Mechanism, SOGIESC Policy, Disability Inclusion Policy, Organizational Bylaws and Governance Framework, Data Protection and Information Security Procedures, the Do No Harm Principle, and any other policies, procedures, or guidance documents adopted by Proud Lebanon during the period of engagement.

The selected consultant will be expected to review, understand, and comply with these policies prior to commencing duties and throughout the duration of the assignment. Any violation of these policies may result in disciplinary measures, including the immediate termination of the contractual agreement.
