Responsibilities:
• Preparation of required government filings (NSSF, VAT, Salaries, Taxes, etc.) for monthly, quarterly and annual closings
• Preparation of month-end process and closing for all entities, including general journal entries
• Preparation of P&L statements
• Overall job costing and cost accounting for inventory valuation in a manufacturing and distribution business
• Reconciling statements, payables and receivables to ensure accurate settlements
• Payroll management and administration
• Entering vouchers into system and filing, bookkeeping
• Supporting in cash management and/or cash handling depending on needs
• Any other task assigned by the management
Technical Skills:
o Good knowledge of the Lebanese taxation law and structure
o Experience with an ERP system (job costing is a plus)
o Strong knowledge of MS Office especially Excel
Soft Skills:
o Detail oriented and able to multi-task
o Strong written and verbal communication skills
o Strong time management, problem solving and analytical skills
Educational Background & Requirements:
Successful candidates will have a well-rounded accounting background and answer to the below criteria:
• Education: Bachelor Degree in Accounting from a reputable university (Masters is a plus)
• Experience: 7 – 9 years in a similar role, preferably in FMCG manufacturing
• Languages: Fluent in English, and Arabic (French is a plus)
Priority is for local candidates living in the Beirut area (close to Kaskas).
Office Hours: Monday --> Friday 9 to 5 & Saturdays 9-->2
