We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our EPCC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning) team in the oil and gas sector based in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will manage financial records, ensure compliance with industry regulations, and contribute to smooth financial operations within our dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

- Maintain and update financial records and general ledger reconciliations and ensure timely month-end and year-end closing.
- Ensure timely processing of invoices, payments, and payroll with accuracy.
- Monitor budget allocations and expenditure for various projects within the EPCC framework.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors during financial audits and inspections.
- Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations, tax laws, and statutory reporting requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of cost analysis and financial forecasts related to EPCC projects.
- Support the finance team in analyzing financial data to identify trends and improve cost-control measures.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification with a minimum of ACCA Intermediate level (partially qualified ACCA) or equivalent.
- Minimum 1-2 years of accounting experience, preferably within oil and gas industry in UAE.
- Strong knowledge of UAE financial regulations and tax laws.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
- High attention to detail and integrity in handling confidential information.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
