Connectalents, a leading Recruitment & HRO company in MENA, is currently hiring a Senior Cost Accountant for a leading Cairo-based logistics, supply chain, and international trading company.

Job Role:Manage full-cycle accounting for trading and import operations Record and reconcile import-related transactions (customs duties, freight, insurance, clearing charges, etc.) Monitor inventory accounting, valuation, and cost of goods sold Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Ensure compliance with local tax laws, VAT, customs, and regulatory requirements Handle bank reconciliations, supplier accounts, and foreign currency transactions Coordinate with customs agents, banks, auditors, and tax consultants Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management Review and improve internal controls and accounting processes Supervise junior accounting staff

What We’re Looking For:Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.3-5 of accounting experience, with strong exposure to the trading/import industry. Sold understanding of import/export documentation and costing. Experience with Odoo (mandatory) Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Very good English (written and spoken) Strong analytical and problem solving skills. High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
