Job Description The Accounting function is responsible for managing the organization’s financial records, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities:Recording, classifying, and summarizing financial transactions. Maintaining the general ledger and supporting documentation. Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. Performing bank and account reconciliations. Assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Ensuring compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements. Supporting internal and external audits. Monitoring cash flow and financial performance. Implementing and maintaining internal financial controls. Core Competencies:Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS). Analytical and problem-solving skills. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems. Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity.
