Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our transport company. The candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting activities and ensuring accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

Record and maintain day-to-day financial transactions.

Prepare invoices and follow up on customer payments.

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Reconcile bank statements and supplier accounts.

Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with UAE regulations.

Maintain petty cash and expense records.

Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with year-end closing.

Coordinate with auditors and management regarding financial matters.

Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum 1–3 years of accounting experience (transport industry experience is an advantage).

Knowledge of accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems.

Familiarity with UAE VAT regulations.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.

Good communication and organizational skills.

Salary

AED 2,500 – AED 3,500 per month (depending on experience).
