Job Title: Junior Accountant

Reports To: Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A Junior Accountant supports the accounting and finance team by maintaining financial records, processing transactions, reconciling accounts, and assisting with financial reporting. This role is ideal for entry-level accounting professionals seeking to develop their accounting knowledge and practical experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Record and maintain daily financial transactions.

2. Prepare and process invoices, payments, and receipts.

3. Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.

4. Support month-end and year-end closing processes.

5. Prepare journal entries and maintain accounting records.

6. Assist in preparing financial reports and statements.

7. Handle company's cash box from A to Z

8. Help ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and tax regulations.

9. Maintain accurate filing systems for financial documents.

10. Assist with audits by providing required documentation and support.

11. ((Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned))

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

* 2–3 years of accounting experience

* Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. 360 Dynamics)

* Strong numerical and analytical skills.

* High attention to detail and accuracy.

* Good organizational and time-management skills.

* Effective written and verbal communication skills
