Job Description

• We are a fast-growing online fashion brand operating a fully integrated supply chain:
• Record and post all journal entries in Odoo (purchases, sales, manufacturing, payroll, expenses)
•    Raw Material Procurement → Raw-Material Warehouse (fabrics, accessories)
• Job-Order Manufacturing → Dispatch materials & designs to partner factories
• Finished-Goods Warehouse → Receive manufactured products
•  Sales & Marketing → Media buyers drive orders via social media platforms
• Last-Mile Delivery → Bosta shipping company delivers orders to customers
• Tech Stack: Odoo ERP | Shopify (e-commerce) | Bosta (logistics) | Egyptian e-Invoice portal
• Key Responsibilities 
• Record and post all journal entries in Odoo (purchases, sales, manufacturing, payroll, expenses)
• Manage Vendor Bills and Customer Invoices within Odoo; reconcile payments
• Monitor the Odoo-Shopify integration: ensure all Shopify orders sync correctly to Odoo accounting
• Monitor the Odoo-Bosta integration: reconcile shipping fees, COD remittances, and delivery statuses
• Manage inventory valuation entries for raw-material warehouse and finished-goods warehouse in Odoo
• Process manufacturing/job-order cost entries (material issue, labour, overhead allocation, goods receipt)
•  Run and review Odoo periodic reports: Trial Balance, P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow
• Issue all outgoing sales invoices through the ETA e-Invoice portal in compliance with Egyptian Tax Authority requirements
• Ensure correct taxpayer codes, line-item descriptions, tax rates (VAT 14%), and digital signatures
• Monitor ETA portal for accepted / rejected invoices and resolve rejection errors promptly
• Maintain a reconciled register of all e-invoices vs. Odoo accounting records
•    Prepare monthly VAT return data and support the senior accountant in filing
•    Match purchase orders, supplier invoices, and goods-received notes (three-way match) in Odoo
•    Process payments to fabric/accessory suppliers and manufacturing factories on due dates
•     Maintain supplier aging report and flag overdue balances to the controller
•     Reconcile Bosta COD (cash-on-delivery) remittance sheets against Shopify order revenues daily
•     Record returned/rejected shipments and reverse related revenue and COGS entries in Odoo
•     Follow up on outstanding COD balances and prepare weekly AR aging
•     Assist in monthly physical inventory counts for raw materials and finished goods
•     Reconcile system quantities in Odoo vs. physical count; investigate and journal variances
•     Ensure accurate COGS posting for each shipped order through Odoo's stock valuation
•     Maintain organized digital filing of all source documents (invoices, POs, shipping notes)
•     Assist in month-end and year-end close procedures
•     Support external audit requests by providing schedules, reconciliations, and documentation
•     Stay updated on Egyptian tax regulations and ETA e-invoice rule changes

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1–3 years of practical accounting experience (fresh graduates with strong internship experience considered)
• Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP (modules: Accounting, Inventory, Purchase, Manufacturing, Sales)
•  Understanding of the full accounting cycle and double-entry bookkeeping
• Familiarity with VAT (14%) rules and Egyptian Tax Authority requirements
• ttention to detail, ability to work under deadline pressure, and strong reconciliation skills
• Experience with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms
• Knowledge of Bosta or other last-mile delivery accounting/reconciliation
•  Experience in fashion, retail, or manufacturing accounting
• Familiarity with job-order costing / manufacturing cost accounting

• Egyptian E-Invoice / ETA portal – Advanced
•   Microsoft Excel – Intermediate to Advanced
• VAT & Tax Compliance (Egypt) – Intermediate
