About the Role:We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Accountant & HR Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounting functions, payroll processing, employee records, HR administration, and ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Duties:
* Manage daily accounting transactions and financial records.* Prepare invoices, payments, receipts, and bank reconciliations.* Process payroll and employee benefits.* Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.* Monitor accounts payable and receivable.* Coordinate with external auditors when required.
HR Duties:
* Maintain employee files and HR records.* Handle recruitment processes, onboarding, and employee documentation.* Monitor attendance, leave balances, and employee benefits.* Prepare employment contracts and HR letters.* Coordinate with relevant authorities for employee-related matters.* Ensure compliance with Qatar Labor Law and company policies.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.* Minimum 3 years of experience in Accounting and HR Administration.* Strong knowledge of payroll processing and employee affairs.* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.* Familiarity with Qatar Labor Law and HR procedures.* Strong organizational and communication skills.* Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage).* Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications:* Experience in professional services, legal, or consultancy firms.* Knowledge of WPS, employee contracts, and government portals in Qatar.
