Manufacturing Cost Accountant Location: Dammam, Saudi Arabia. Job Type: Full-time

About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Manufacturing Cost Accountant to join our team in Dammam. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and controlling manufacturing costs to ensure accurate financial reporting and to provide actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making and operational efficiency within our production facility.

Key Responsibilities:Cost Management: Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, including raw materials, direct labor, and overheads. Standard Costing: Establish, maintain, and review standard cost structures; analyze and report on variances between actual and standard costs. Performance Reporting: Prepare monthly cost reports, variance analyses, and management dashboards to track manufacturing performance. Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the preparation of production budgets and operational expenditure forecasts. Inventory Control: Ensure accurate valuation and reconciliation of raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods. System Integrity: Maintain and optimize cost records within SAP ERP, ensuring seamless integration between finance and production modules. Operational Improvement: Collaborate with production and procurement teams to identify cost drivers, reduce waste, and improve production yields. Compliance: Ensure full adherence to internal controls, financial procedures, and company policies.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing cost accounting. System Expertise: Mandatory proficiency in SAP ERP. Availability: Candidates must be available to relocate and join on short notice. Skills: Strong analytical mindset, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable management insights. Soft Skills: Excellent command of written and spoken English; strong communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration. Mindset: Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
