• Description: Overview

  Our client is a leading large company in the field of Healthcare and Medical Equipment. We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced Chief Accountant specializing in Billing and Revenues to join their dynamic finance team in Amman, Jordan. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, the successful candidate will oversee complex financial data, ensure revenue integrity, and manage high-volume transactional workflows.

  
  Main Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Revenue Recognition: Oversee and validate all revenue recognition processes, ensuring strict compliance with IFRS and company policies.

    
    

  • Billing & Invoicing: Manage the end-to-end billing cycle, verifying accuracy across high-volume healthcare and medical equipment transactions.

    
    

  • Reconciliations: Perform complex monthly reconciliations of accounts receivable, revenue accounts, and sub-ledgers against the general ledger.

    
    

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely revenue reports, variance analyses, and financial statements for management review.

    
    

  • Internal Controls: Maintain and optimize robust internal controls over the billing ecosystem to mitigate financial risks and discrepancies.

    
    

  • Audit Support: Lead the preparation for internal and external audits regarding revenue assurance and billing cycles.

    
    

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with operations and sales teams to streamline invoicing workflows and resolve complex billing discrepancies efficiently.

    
    
  Job Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. A CMA certification is a strong asset.

    
    

  • Experience: 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, specifically handling high-volume transactions (e.g., healthcare, retail, or fast-paced multinational environments).

    
    

  • Systems: Strong proficiency in Oracle ERP is highly preferred.

    
    

  • Languages: Fluent in both Arabic and English (written and spoken).

    
    

  • Skills: Exceptional communication skills, sharp analytical mindset, and ability to manage tight deadlines.

    
    

  • Availability: Immediate joiners or candidates with a maximum of a 30-day notice period are preferred.

    
    

  • Location/Eligibility: Based inside Jordan (Amman).
