Job Description

  • Prepare and record journal entries accurately and timely.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Perform bank, vendor, customer, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Review financial transactions to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Prepare and submit VAT, withholding tax, and other tax returns in compliance with local regulations.
  • Issue and manage e-invoices and e-receipts through the Egyptian Tax Authority (ETA) system.
  • Follow up on invoice validation, rejection cases, and required corrections.
  • Maintain tax records and support tax audits, inquiries, and reconciliations.
  • Monitor tax deadlines and stay updated on tax laws and regulatory changes.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 
  • 1–3 years of experience in accounting, taxation, or a similar role. 
  • Good understanding of General Ledger accounting principles. 
  • Basic knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) is a plus.
  •  Strong analytical and numerical skills. 
  • High attention to detail and accuracy. 
  • Good communication and teamwork skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. 
  • Knowledge of IFRS and local tax regulations is an advantage.
