Position: Accountant Location: Dubai, UAE

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Accountant to join a growing organization within the IT sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, and ensuring effective financial controls across the business.

Key Responsibilities Prepare financial statements, management reports, and financial analysis. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. Monitor customer payments and follow up on collections. Process supplier payments and maintain accurate accounting records. Ensure VAT compliance, documentation, and timely filing of returns. Support corporate tax compliance and related reporting requirements. Maintain banking transactions, reconciliations, and banking relationships. Implement and monitor financial controls, governance, and compliance procedures. Handle general ledger postings and month-end closing activities. Support import and export accounting transactions and documentation. Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with UAE regulations. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to support financial planning and reporting requirements.

Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.5–8 years of relevant accounting and finance experience. Previous experience within the IT industry is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and corporate tax requirements. Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis. Good understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and treasury functions. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage the full accounting cycle.
